Marsha McInnis has worked in art and design for nearly 30 years. Her formal training is in life drawing, illustration and cartooning. Marsha's creative skills have spanned a wide spectrum of the arts including watercolor, color pencil, photography, rendering in copper wire, and Scherenschnitte (paper cutting and layering).
In the 1980s and 1990's, Marsha created a line of whimsical animal cartoons of which choice characters were licensed for high-end needlepoint designs. From that experience, she decided that every year she would compile her best artwork into a calendar. Not only did it archived the year's work, but friends and family happily recieved final copies.
Since 2000, Marsha has piqued her curiosity by experimenting with different materials such as copper wire, bead and fused glass. In addition, she has banded together for many years with a bead artist and fused glass artist, collaborating on spectacular and unusual pieces.
